Sadly, this is my last official post as a DT Member for Schlosser Designs. It's been so much fun, and I want to publicly thank Erin for the opportunity to represent her company and product. I have so enjoyed working for Erin and the other ladies on the team! I am so excited to seeing the brand new DT in July and their own creative spin on these super stamps! (There is still time to try out for the new team so if you are interested, check out my post here.)
So, for my farewell post, I decided to create a birthday card. I don't think I have done any birthday cards with Schlosser stamps yet, so I thought a celebratory post was appropriate. :) I used the super cute stamp set called "Hey Cupcake".
I used a combination of MME and Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely line for this cute little card, along with some brown Crate to top the cupcake off. I really like the "chocolate" frosting on the cupcake - seems to ground everything. Well, that about does it for me today. I have some sneak peaks coming up this week along with some other fun stuff, so make sure and check back during the week! Thanks so much for stopping by! I really appreciate it! Have a wonderful Sunday!
Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today I'm trying something a little different, because as you know I'm not at home, so I am having to try to upload and post photos via Flickr. It's pretty convenient, but I must say, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that make the process as complete as I'd like. For instance, I am trying to figure out if I can include more than one photo . . . so bear with me! (see update below)
I only have this and one more post left for Schlosser Designs. Sad. But exciting too! There are so many fun things coming up - it's all so very thrilling! So this is what I made for my next to last SD post.
I made this cute little tag using Schlosser Stamps, "Hey Cupcake" set. I teamed it up with some new OA and Girl's Paperie and I just love it! Doesn't it look so yummy? It would be great on a summer, sunny day - which we aren't getting any of here in WA! Ugh! Oh, well, hopefully it will perk up soon! Wait, the sun is coming out! YAY!!!!
Happy Thursday everyone! I am in travel-mode today heading out to the greater Seattle area for the summer! But I thought I would post a quick note for all you stampers and / or lovers of mod design in your crafting! Erin Schlosser, owner of Schlosser Designs is having her new Design Team Call right now!
My term is ending in just a couple weeks, already. I can't believe how quickly these last 6 months have passed! It's been a wonderful experience and Erin is a SUPER person to work for! I highly encourage you to try out! I'm so excited to see what the new design team brings to these fabulous stamps! The deadline to enter is July 7th and the new team will be announced on the Schlosser Designs blog on July 12th. If you are interested in being a part of this super team, head over to the Schlosser Designs blog, here to enter the call! Best of luck to those who enter the call! :D
Happy Thursday everyone! I have a really fun set of projects for you today for Father's Day from Schlosser Designs! It's a set of 2 cards, a hinged gift-tin cover and labels that all coordinate to make a super cute set of fun Father's Day gifts! The files are all PDFs and you can either purchase pre-made sentiments, or you can purchase files that have customizable sentiments. So lets get started!
Here's a picture of the 3 main projects, I have added patterned paper, cardstock and embellishments, but the files are such, that you can just print and go, if you like! The possibilities are endless! I also used the customizable file and put my own fun spin on some of the sentiments. Here's a closer look.
Here's the tin cover label along with the tin which you can also purchase from Schlosser Designs, here. On this saw, I added a little additional dimension to the saw by adding a serrated piece of cardstock using my pinking shears.
For this card, I cut out all the individual pieces of "lumber" added brads for nails and cut the middle piece with the pinking shears again to appear "cut" from that super fierce round table saw! :) I hand cut the saw, distressed the edges with ink and added a brad in the center to give it a well used look.
For this card, I printed the card front out two times. Once on kraft cardstock and once on cream cardstock. Then I cut out the sentiment and the hammer and popped them up off the kraft piece with 3D craft tape to give it added dimension and "pop". I also took the entire card base and offset it from the patterned paper card base that I created along with the ribbon, cardstock and brads.
Lastly, in the set there is an entire sheet of coordinating labels - so super cute! Erin had this super idea to print these out on sticker labels then cover chocolates with the labels making a super cute gift for Father's Day (see below). She also mentioned an idea of taking those same labels and making cupcake toppers. That is what I decided to do, as well as make a cupcake wrapper. With some finesse and trial and error, I think it turned out really cute - I just printed the label page out on regular cardstock instead of label paper and played with the size until I got it just so, then trimmed and taped the back. You get all these super graphics for $3.00 pre-written, or $5.00 for a customizable file. Isn't that fantastic?!
What? You say your Dad / Husband is not the "tool kit" kinda guy?! WELL! Erin has another set just like this one that is more generic, called the Classy Dad kit! Just as great, but with different graphics and colors. Classy Dad also comes in the pre-written and customizable kits.
Well, that about does it for me today! I hope you have a super, wonderful day and I'll be bringing you some more fun stuff here soon! Thanks so much for stopping by! :)
Happy Monday!! Thought I'd start the day out right with 3 cupcakes! What do you think? Sounds yummy to me!! Maybe not the breakfast of champions, but we can look, right? For this fun little card, I used paper from October Afternoon's new Fly A Kite line and paired it up with the super cute stamps from Schlosser Designs' set called Hey Cupcake!
For just a little more added whimsy, I added some coordinating microbreads by Martha Stewart atop each cupcake to look like sprinkles (or jimmies for some of you). Look pretty tasty! :)
What a week I have ahead, I can't even tell you! Things are starting to wrap up with school, I've got a TON of crafting to do, some potentially really fun news to share, getting ready for our annual summer trip back to Washington state (although from the sounds of it, summer hasn't quite made the decision to be there yet) in addition to keeping everything running smoothly here at home. Last week my husband was on a business trip all week, so things sort of fell a little, so I am having to get back into gear with everything again, and then some - YIKES! All good things! Anyhoo, thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Monday!
