Hi everyone! Popping in today to share a couple of layouts that I contributed to the Lily Bee Design booth for last week's CHA Show in Chicago. This first page is using the new collection perfect for all things fall related, Autumn Spice. This collection is named so appropriately. Each piece of paper feels like autumn. I can just taste the pumpkin bread and mulling spices on the stove when I look at this collection.
I was so excited to create these leaves with this collection. And just as I had hoped, they created the most beautiful leaves, perfect for playing off of all the leaf pile fights we have out here in the fall in New England!Just look at that deep walnut woodgrain paper, I'm totally in love with it!
This page here, was created using Christmas Cheer, the newest Christmas collection from Lily Bee. I used nearly all of the banner stickers from this collection to create this whimsical yet homespun feeling tree. Once all of my pieces were all stuck to my cardstock, I straight-stitched lines from the top of my tree down to the base. It reminds me how landscapers place lights around large trees at Christmas-time.
I'm quiet keen on a very perticular set of colors for Christmas - red, cream and neutral. This collection delivers those colors and I'm in heaven. The addition of the aqua and green make this collection that much more versatile!
I am in love with all of the snowflakes on cream, it's perfection in my humble opinion!
Over at Lily Bee the past couple months, we've been busily working on establishing a new blog format, and this week, we've finally launched it! We hope that it will bring more predictability, more inpsireation and more excitement to our blog schedule. Here's the new line-up.
*Mondays = Sketch Challenge
*Tuesdays = Designers' Choice Challenge
Wednesdays = Cards inspiration
Thursdays = Guest Designer of the Month
Fridays = Tutorials, Altered Projects, Project Life, Kristen's News, Special Events
*Mondays and Tuesdays are the biggest changes to our rotation. With a new sketch challenge and a new general challenge each week along with samples from at least 2 designers for each post, there should be plenty of inspiration! But that's not all, both challenges afford all Lily Bee Design fans the opportunity to not only get involved in the Lily Bee community by uploading projects to the brand new Lily Bee Design Flickr Gallery/Pool, but also enters you into 2 monthly giveaways for a Lily Bee Prize package! One for our Sketch Challenge participants and one for our Designers' Choice Challenges. That's two chances each month to win our gorgeous projects! So make sure you are following the Lily Bee Design blog in your blog readers for your chance to participate and win!
In the meantime, while we're talking Lily Bee, I just thought I'd let you know that as Two Peas is trying to make room for NEW Lily Bee Design, they have last year's Harvest Market and Happily Lost collections marked at 25% off! So make sure you check those out before they are all gone! Gorgeous, aren't they!?
Below I've also included the collections from Winter 2012 CHA along with those collections that I've mentioned above. They won't last long before the new comes in, so make sure you get them while they last!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day!
