Happy Monday, everyone! Just a quick post today to share that I have a Weekly Challenge up that I am hosting over at Two Peas in a Bucket! The post is to take one of your previous pages and scrap-lift YOURSELF! I love challenges like this! It always gives you an opportunity to recreate a layout that you really liked or recreate a page that you think needs a bit of a facelift. For this challenge, I chose a layout that I really liked and adjusted it a little to create another fun page, that I am really loving of my little guy and his first lost tooth!
This is the page that I lifted. It was one that focused on my little guys eyes. And here's a bit of a secret - it's from the same series of images as my new layout! I just used the eyes as the focus for this layout and his mouth as the focus for my new layout! When I took the pictures, he was giviing me all these ridiculous faces, and either his eyes would be in focus and not his teeth, or vice versa, so I took the best of the silly looks and created a page, then took the best of the mouth images and made those the focus of my originally intended page, about his lost tooth. :) To see the original post for this inspriation layout, check that out here.
Make sure to head on over to the challenge to see detail shots and all the products that I used to create these pages. I'd love to have you play along! If you do, you have a chance to win a $5 Gift Certificate to the Two Peas Shop! Check out all the details here!
