Hi everyone! Hope your week is shaping up well! We are still a couple weeks away from Spring break here, but the kids have a couple days off at the end of this week for Easter vacation. Spring has most definitely come our way, as well. Flowers are popping up everywhere, and while it's still a bit chilly, the sun has been out in vibrant force everyday this week - yay!!
Today I thought I'd share a page I have up in the Two Peas Garden this week. It's for our them of "Under This Roof". I just love the subway art that's been popping up all over Pinterest and Etsy with the quotes for "In this House' and "In this Home". In fact I'm in the process now of having one of these signs made for our home and decided to use the nearly complete verbiage for our sign, as the title of my page.
My Cameo is getting a workout with these long titles! I just love how I can customize just about anything I want and get it to cut perfectly. I also love how I don't have to cut out a bunch of fussy letters and glue each of them down, all I have to do is cut out my title in the layout I want, then place colored patterned paper behind the cut outs to get the look I 'm looking for. Makes it easy and great looking! I love this new fringe from Heidi Swapp, too. It's kind of a plastic type material and comes in lots of fun colors and patterns. My favorite is this Sunshine version in this fun yellow chevron!
I was so excited recently when all the papers from Pink Paislee came in! I have been in love with Spring Jubilee since it was first introduced last winter! The colors are so fresh and vibrant - perfect for spring! I used the colors in this gorgeous collection to really play up the happy-factor in our family dynamics for this page. I really love how that all worked out!
In a bit of Two Peas in a Bucket news . . .
I have an upcoming challenge coming to the Garden here in the next week or so. It's a fun one, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for that!
Also, a TON of new product has come into the shop over the last 24 hours, including Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Amy Tangerine, American Crafts, Prima Marking, Fancy Pants, Lily Bee Design.!! Oy. My shopping cart has filled up yet.again.!! But many of these items have been on my MUST GET list since CHA, so I had to pull the trigger last night! LOL
Well, friends. It's time for me to sign off for today. Lots to do, not enough time to get it all done. But I'll be back in the next couple days with another bit of fun craftiness to share. Until then, thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!! ;D
