I've had this fun little library pocket die sitting on my desk for a while. I've used it a couple times here and there, but felt that I needed to showcase it's fun versatility at some point. When my April Kit, Life . . Be Still, from the Little Black Dress kit club arrived, I knew this was a terrific opportunity to showcase it.
Talk about wow papers in this kit - I was in love! Beautiful new selections from My Mind's Eye and Glitz Design make a strong appearance in this striking kit, thick with orange, woodgrains and neutrals. I wanted to create a layout that featured many of the beautiful patterned papers at the same time, so this grid approach seemed to work really well with the cute library pockets. One of my favorite features of this kit are the woodgrains. There's vintage baubles, tiny alphas and patterned paper all with the trendy pattern in this kit, and it makes my woodgrain-loving heart sing!
It also makes it even harder for me to say goodbye to this fun kit club, as this kit is my last as a design team member. I won't say my final goodbyes just yet, as I have several more projects to share for April, but it does make me sentimental about the last 9 months with these ladies and their fantastic venture over the past year. :) Over the next couple weeks I'll be posting the rest of my projects from this kit and I am very much looking forward to sharing them with you!
As some doors close, others open and I'm thrilled to let you know I have several things over the next month to share. Doors opening in ways I never anticipated, and I couldn't be more excited and humbled. So stay tuned. Early next week is one of the first in a line of a few things coming up! And it should be FUN FUN FUN!! ;) Have a WONDERFUL Thursday!! :D
